Tysons History, Area and Statistics

Tysons Corner, the “downtown” of Fairfax County is notably the 12th largest business district in the United States and is Virginia’s largest office market. Its central location in the heart of Northern Virginia at the intersection of the Capital Beltway (I-495) and the Dulles Toll and Access Roads (Route 267) helps secure its reputation as a booming center of business in the region. Tysons Corner boasts more than 25 million square feet of office and retail space, making it one of the most important and influential business districts in the nation. Tysons Corner continues to grow at a rapid pace – local urban planners envision up to 200,000 more jobs and 100,000 more residents in the coming decades.
